Bonus
I was shooting blind...could not see my screen at all...was so happy with the shadow. I seldom think to take shadow shots but always enjoy others' shadow shots so much.

Yellow...
I am thinking this is a Buttercup, but don't know for sure....can anyone confirm or tell me what it is? There used to be flowers I seen as a kid that we called buttercups, but this is a lot bigger than they were.

Here Kitty, Kitty!
We actually went for a drive a week or two ago...and this is a kitty I saw out in the country. Isn't it a beauty. Roger told me I could not have it...well, I didn't want it. I also think it belonged to a farm we had just passed.

Farm scene
I wish I had not cut that tree off on the right side, but I was shooting from the car and would have gotten my rear view mirror in the frame. And the road was to busy to stop and get out. And no place to pull off.

Found treasure
I was doing a bit of weeding this morn, and looked back in the bucket I throw the weeds in and this was laying on top! Isn't it gorgeous. I had to lay my gloves on it to keep the wind from moving it/blowing it away.

???
We saw this yesterday...it is near a favorite house that I like to drive past. We wondered about it. It is out in the country with only one or two houses even close. I have never seen a kid on that road at all. It is probably a two mile stretch of road and at the most a dozen houses scattered along it.

Bald Eagle in nest
I cannot believe it, but this is the 4th Bald Eagle nest that I know of. I cannot get a good view of two of them...one is a lot closer to the road than this one, but even if something is on it, it would have to be sitting on the edge towards the road or I would never see.

Another gorgeous bloom in my yard...
Photos both taken with my Samsung Note 8.

Double-tree, single trees and so much more...
This was just someone's house...in Illinois. I wonder if they are tools they grew up with. In case you don't know, the double-tree is the thing behind the blue koiloil lamp on the right. It is used to attach a pair of horses to the same implement. And the ones directly below it are single trees, to use one horse with. The things at their side are the hames...I can't remember just how they attach to the horse, but I think to the collar...and then the traces (part of the harness attaching impliment till the horses can pull. They are made from chains....at least I think ours were.)

Crop duster...
I wonder if all crop dusters are yellow...I have only seen three or four, but they have all been yellow.

Above is the moon from last night....the pink moon. I am always too lazy to get out the tripod so out of 6 or 8 shots, this was the decent one. I finally leaned against the garage to steady myself.
Below are two shots of the moon from March 8th...exactly one month ago.
As you can see by the photo below, I was lucky to get one at all.

Life emerging...
It is always so much fun to see life emerging after the gray days of winter.
Edited to add:
Some have asked what this is. To the best of my knowledge it is Horse Chestnut.

Dutchman's breeches
I was so glad to be out a little bit and see some life! We went to get gas and took a little detour to get home.

Log cabin...
We came across this little cabin...seen at the Forest Glen preserve in Illinois. The window upstairs strikes me as an odd place.
I wish it had been open to see inside. Looking through a window is just not the same.
