Both the images look lovely..I love the vast space in that top image ..the tilled land I think !We can see a little bit of it in the second image..Wonder what will come up there !! \ Devi :))
I see no unnecessary glares that I get from windshield photos, great job Rose! These barn photos you post takes me to where you are, peaceful and quiet and worry free :)
Rose I am back with another comment, it's okay if you don;t post this one but I just want you to know that I have read your comment on my blog and responded and I really went back here to thank you for your words and reminding me that God is always with us so no matter how strong my worries are I should just remind myself that he is always with us and that I give the burdens and He will lighten my load. That helps Rose and I need to practice that often :) Again thank you so much, your words brought comfort to me.
if you are driving, I am glad you stopped to take the snaps. I like the B&W one better because it provides context. the barn is not distinctive enough to stand as an isloated image.
I love your barn photos! I think it's because I see so few barns/farms in my little world. I just say though, you certainly have a lot of them in yours!💖
A great scene for black & white!
ReplyDeleteThey turned out so well in spite of the windshield!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder how these old barns can support the weight of a metal roof. It's good to see the effort being made to keep them useful.

ReplyDeleteI particularly like the first shot... YAM xx

I like the black and white better...looks like it could be from a farmer's almanac advertisement. Well composed.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice one. Looks like it's had a new roof put on
ReplyDeletethat sure is a nice and beautiful roof on that old patchwork barn..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tones and textures captured in the B&W composition!
ReplyDeleteThe B&W shot is nice, but I almost always go for color. Cool barn.

I prefer the B&W. It looks timeless
ReplyDeleteThese are great for through the window.
ReplyDeleteThese are fine shots when driving even if stopped.

ReplyDeleteA nice looking barn. Everything looks so tidy. And the field seems to be almost ready for planting.

ReplyDeleteWell, the barn has a good roof. I'm not too sure about the rest of it.
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely images of the old barn Rose. I always enjoy seeing the black and white photos also.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!
ReplyDeleteThe barn looks good in both images. The owner has kept the barn and place very tidy.
