Such handsome fellows!

This guy was with his lady love, but unfortunately I could not capture her.  And even if I could she was out in the plowed field and blended right in.

Another handsome bird.

This makes three or four times I have driven through and seen some.  For several years we hardly ever drove through the strip pit area without at least seeing  one or two.  But the past 2 or 3 years, they have been few and far between.

  6. Magnificent birds, aren't they. I have four who now regularly visit and seem quite at home just a few feet from the houses and cars.

  16. He is so handsome. When we moved to town some 28 years ago, we used to have Pheasants visit our feeder area. One even tried to get up into this large feeder

  20. well, let's hope they are re-populating. Is there a hunting season? That would limit population.
