Lotus


I love the lotus blossoms...


along with their 'leaves' or pads or whatever you call them.

  2. Lovely! This may sound weird Rose, but this is the first time I saw an opened lotus flower with that holey core exposed! So thank you for that! Lotus are very symbolic, it means rebirth and also beauty under pressure because Lotus can grow in any water condition even in the dirtiest rivers and ponds, they thrive and bloom beautifully!

  4. Beautiful lotus flower and leaves. The lotus seeds can be eaten and we use the leaves to wrap food for cooking. Have a great weekend.

  12. I love lotus blossoms too. These are beautiful images. I am waiting for the ones around here to bloom. It is usually not until the beginning of July.
