This is was taken two or three evenings ago...it is the summer version of
On and on and on...to my eye it is not as appealing. It is not bad...and I would probably like it better if it were right before or right after a storm.
And this is the version looking the other way, which is south. This off to the side was the most effective way to take the shot. The first pair of poles is quite a bit farther away than the pair looking north.
My very favorite is the first. Simply wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThe colors in the first one are striking. :)
ReplyDeleteYes to both thoughts--- the sky is much more interesting in the evening shot and the lines support it. On the other hand the lower picture has the other tall towers. Still-- it is the first which seems most harmonious.
ReplyDeleteI especially love the first picture. Truly looks like summer time.
ReplyDeleteI really like these. Now you need a fall and winter version of the this one :)
ReplyDeleteThe pstel colors are comforting. And the power lines silhouette...cool.
ReplyDeleteI too prefer the first one probably because of the gold light. Have a great day.

ReplyDeleteArtistically, that first version certainly has something extra... but I like these well enough, and on this occasion, I think the second is the better shot for the dimension provided by the second tower line... YAM xx
Muy buena la perspectiva de las torres. Me gusta.
ReplyDeleteCuídate.
Un abrazo.
Interesting point of view though electric poles and pretty sky background!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThe first photo is my favorite, I like the colors in the sky.
Have a great day!
Lovely symmetry and skies
ReplyDeleteVery creative pairing of the two views. I like them both.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the second one...I really don't know why!!!
ReplyDeleteDevi :)))
That first one Rose is my favorite as well! Love the gradient on the sky! This reminds me of the Giant Swing in Bangkok, one of the city's landmarks :)
ReplyDeleteI must say that I like the summer version better with its beautiful colors captured in the sky!
ReplyDeletethey are both excellently framed right to the vanishing point Rose....peter:)
ReplyDeleteI like the second one best.
ReplyDeleteI think that the color is very pretty with the power poles. I think my favorite time to catch them is before a storm with dramatic clouds. But I like this version very much also.
ReplyDeleteThe power system makes a fine picture. I like both directions.
ReplyDeleteI like the top one, partly because of the colorful sky but also because of the careful alignment of the near and distant poles
ReplyDeleteI think they both work. Different but equal.
