Yum!


We found these a few years ago...they are oyster mushrooms and delicious to eat if you like fried mushrooms.

    They are pretty. I'm not a fan of the taste of mushrooms but both John and Larry are.

    I haven't eaten wild mushrooms in years...my uncle used to gather them. Are oyster mushrooms safe? No chance of being confused with poisonous ones?

    They look splendid. Other than common field mushrooms I'm rather nervous about eating fungi.

    They're pretty too. I would be too afraid to eat anything that I picked though. I wouldn't know a good one from a bad one.

    I am never sure if the wild fungus I see are edible so I leave 'em be. These are attractive tho, in the wild.

    A beautiful composition. I love the moss growing on the tree bark and these delicate mushrooms. I don't know enough about mushrooms to pick my own. I would probably poison myself!

    Those are peculiar looking mushrooms. Yes, they do kind of look like oysters. Haven't had cooked mushrooms in so long, although I did have them on my pizza yesterday. ; )
