Again I am resorting to the archives. These are from July 2010.
I definitely need to get some plants that attract butterflies. I only see one very occasionally in the yard. I guess they miss the patch of cone flowers I usually have.
Lovely capture ! It is very difficult to capture butterflies as they flit about without sitting on a flower!! Great capture. Hope you see more of them thid year and share the images with us:)) Have a safe Sunday Rose:)) Devi :)
These are magnificent butterfly images. Early this spring I bought a 5 ft. by 5 ft. elevated planter box and then only bought flowers that attracted bees and butterflies. Most of the planter box is filled with cone flowers and some Black Eyed Susan's and other type daisies. I only bought flowers that are indigenous to to whee I live. I have gotten a lot of bees and am just starting to get butterflies. It has been a fun project.
That first one is so beautiful. The second one is the exact same butterfly that I saw on one of my drives in the country. I saw 3 white butterflies recently in 3 days. I've never seen a white butterfly, so it was a pleasant surprise. : )
WOW, clear and stunning! I am so glad you went to your archives!
