Butterfly from another year...



I am not seeing very many butterflies this year...so am resorting to pulling from the archives.

    After I have reduced the flowering plants in my garden, there are less butterflies visiting my garden now.

    It's very pretty. I haven't seen many either but then I don't spend a whole lot of time outside. I've never been able to get a picture of one either. They fly off before I can even get the camera focused.

    We have very few! By this time of year we usually have flocks of butterflies but we've only seen one or two at a time. This one is really beautiful and looks like he's made of stained glass

    This is a gorgeous butterfly. What is the name of it. I love the color and the pattern. I have not seen very many butterflies either, especially as compared to last year. This one is lovely.

    Super beautiful Rose! Love the colors of its wings. I cannot stare at the butterfly's body though, you know my fear of insects HAHA

    It is a beautiful butterfly. It reminds me of a gritillary but that fuzzy stuff behind its head. Makes it a diffrent kind.
