Yes, and I loved them. Now I have cheapo Walmart plastic mixing bowls. I see those crocks on the lower shelf. I LOVE crocks and collected them for a while. I left mine in Indiana for my daughter to sell. Her life revolves around FB Marketplace now. She is collecting her inheritance. xx, Carol
Yes, and I have more than two sets of them that we still use regularly! I have my set, my Mom's set, and a friend's few bowls that she was going to give away. They are so perfect for so many things!
I am very happy to see these traditional porcelain bowls. Now we get the plastic ones....but.. Well Loved the other items too. I have a couple ofold bowls and jars too! Devi :)))
Not sure if those are the same as the big mixing-bowl that my mother had. It had a flat surface on one side so the bowl could be rested at an angle for vigorous stirring with a wooden spoon. I love looking around that kind of shop.
our affluence amazes me. precious home and kitchen goods were handed from mother to daughter or grandmother to granddaughter, not as cherished antiques, but as work-a-day utensils that no one had the cash to buy. today they are dumped at garage sales for quarters or a dollar, more to get rid of them than to raise cash.
We have two different sets of them. My late wife liked the green and yellow combo and my wife had the set showing in the photo. We blended most of them but don't have all of them anymore.
You know I remember them, just posted on Throwback Thursday week before last. I love them! :)
