Kestrel: 1 Hawk: 0


 Every time I run across this photo I think 'take that!'....and picture some of the old cartoons.  I cropped it for the following:


I wish it were better in focus, but still am glad to have caught even this.  I am not good with hawk IDs...so could not identify the other hawk.

  7. this hawk is in a dive toward some prey Rose... it's an excellent capture because they dive very fast....peter:)

  10. That is an amazing capture. About an hour from where I live there is a dam and every winter lots of bald eagles converge to catch fish in the dam and they get into some ferocious fights. Lots of bird photographers go there but I don't have the right lens.
