Drive-by

This one is from the archives...from back in the day when Roger could still drive.  There is no way I could snap a photo of this while driving there.  I cannot even do any good on road where I am the only one on the road if I have to shoot to my left while driving.  Over near Arthur, Illinois where this is taken, the road always has  a few cars coming and going.  Not bumper to bumper, but I sure cannot dwaddle along.  And there is no place to pull over.

Anyway, this is one of the barns I consider a favorite.  I always tell Roger if someone was outside, I would be so tempted to stop and ask for a look inside, and to ask about the history.  and maybe for once I could get a decent photo.

  1. This is a very decent photo! I so often see things I should stop and take a picture of. Often there is room to pull over, but I always hesitate too long.

  2. I think this must be my favorite of all the ones you have posted. It is grand, with the large greem roof. And the windows and turret. The animals don't know how good they have it.

  6. Very nice barn. Sometimes its disappointing when there is no place to pull over for us to snap some interesting photos. I love to be in the passenger seat where I am free to snap as many photos. Have a blessed Christmas.
