From Illinois

We never did figure out what this had been used for.  Does anyone else have any idea?  This was taken in 2009 and we have not seen it since.

  1. Wow, I have never seen one like it. Looks like some kind of small silo for storing food, with maybe a spring house besde it?

  3. ...enlarging it, it really can't be for storing grain with all the openings. I did a Google search...could be a barn?!?

  14. It almost looks like an old furnace or kiln. But I am not sure that it would have a house built so close to it. It is definitely an interesting structure. I like the brick work. It took quite a lot of work to build it.
