Roger used to always be doing something...he tied actual flies sometimes and others made lures. I think he enjoyed making things as much as he enjoyed using them.
These are pretty fancy. At one of the craft shows I did years ago there was a young man next to us that made fishing lures. His booth was really busy all day.
He is so talented with making these and making knives. The funny thing is when Bob was flying his Planes he loved the repairing of the planes when they crashed as much as flying the planes or maybe more! One good thing these flies are worth a good bit of money if you sold them on eBay so if you ever had the need for cash you could sell them
i like Rogers skill tying fries and judging by this display Rose... this great craftsmanship... i'm sure that he would be catching plenty of trout with them... fishing is my favorite sport....peter:)
I have always found fishing lures to be so fascinating. I can imagine that there must be a lot of satisfaction in making your own lures. My father in law used to make his. These are beautiful.
