Sleeping/not sleeping...

We managed to wander down to Goose Pond on this past Friday....I was hoping to see some something.  Two or three roads we wanted to go down were covered by water.   We did see a few ducks, and several hawks...and I was about to give up and head home and Lo and behold, I spotted these.  They were so far away I could not tell what they were.

I walked down till I was opposite them...I was still a distance away...though these photos are not the best, I am also amazed they are as good as they are.  The wind was off and iceberg and strong enough to cut right through a person.  If I had had an umbrella I could have become Mary Poppins.  So was luck that they are not terrible blurry just from the wind factor alone.

  5. How wonderful that you found these before you left. It looks like that one pelican in the first picture has a bit of insomnia :)

  15. The second shot is amazing. Well, I'm glad we didn't see you blow by holding on to an umbrella. :-)
