Early iris...


 This photo was taken April 17th and it had been blooming since the day or two before.  What is funny is it is still a beautiful bloom!  I have never had them last even half long.  It must be the cool weather.  None of my other irises are near ready to bloom.  I think this one is blooming because somehow it got shifted so close to the house.

    It's beautiful. I used to have some all white iris. I had moved some things around in the back yard and after I moved them they never came up again.

    That is really a pretty Iris, Rose. Love the Purple and White colors swirling all around in it. The details of the petals are beautiful.

    What a pretty flower! I have that color of iris as well, but it will be a while before they are blooming here.

    That's spectacularly pretty. I grow some daffodils in tubs and the one that's in shade always flowers for much longer than those that get a bit of sun.
