Not a regular barn...

In October, pre pandemic, there was a Parke County Covered Bridge festival.  Parke county is a farming community with a population of less than 20, 000 people.  During the 10 days that the festival goes on, over a million people pass through.  This barn is full of booths during those days. In fact every little town has things going on.  Vendors, food....oh, and along all the roads there are yard sales and more yard sales. Hopefully sometime in the near future, it can resume.

  1. I would come to see the bridges. But, I would rather see them without the crowds.

  5. We have missed so many beloved yearly events last year and even this year with the pandemic. It will be nice when things get back to normal again. This is a lovely barn.

  10. What a fabulous looking barn. Just over the border in Ohio they also have a covered bridge festival. I've never actually gone and looked at all the bridges but I did participate in one of the craft shows they had.

Things could be normal, once everyone was vaccinated.

  14. Sounds wonderful. Wish we could return to those normal days. Yet again, we are on nationwide lockdown for 21 days. Hopefully, after 21 days, we will see an improvement.

  17. What a charming barn. I like the wreath hanging from it. That would be fun to go to the festival and browse through all the booths and have wonderful different foods. I've always loved craft fairs and festivals. I am hoping this mountain town has something like that. : )
