Not a cave entrance...

 When I see a place like this from a distance, I immediately want to explore.  But there was nothing there...not the entrance to a cave or anything so interesting.

 I can remember the area, sort of.  I can remember it but not where it was.  It is another from the archives, and from a rambling drive.

 This was taken in Parke Country...in 2009.  It is a zoomed in shot...was across quite a distance if I remember correctly.

I wish I remembered where this was at...I would like to see if it has been fixed up or if is still there at all.  I couldn't decide which view I liked best so just giving both..

I had to do some investigating to figure out which creek it was...it is Brouillett's Creek.  I just can't recall where  I was at, though I think I was over in Illinois.

 I am not sure which flower this is...I don't kow if this is a Black-eyed Susan or a Brown-eyed Susan...or perhaps a coneflower.  If you know, please leave a comment.

From 2009

 Someone must have had access to a lot of pumpkins, etc.  I just loved this porch...if it were mine, I would use it a lot.  Our weather has turned cooler, and the breeze makes it too chilly to sit on ours now.  Though I am tempted to get a blanket and sit out there anyway.

Bursting out

 Another shot from the recent years, but still I just love it.   It is the way the evening light hits all those seeds/silk bursting out at the seams that I love.

Sparked joy

 I ran across this the other night while looking for something else...and it sparked such a good feeling, I just had to share it.

Waiting...

 This is going to be a small quilt to hang on the wall.  IF I can ever decide how I want to quilt it.  I cannot even decide if I want to quilt it by machine or by hand.  I should do it by hand which would give me hand sewing to do at night.  The color of the border is not true though it is close.  It has a more fuchsia tone to it but it is still really dark in real life.  Meanwhile, it is waiting for me to make a decision.

A different sort of gold...

They are just so pretty....the longer autumn lasts the happier I am.

Always liked these.....

 I have always liked ornamental cabbage but never grown any.  This is also one of Lorelei's photos.  I did crop it a little bit.

 We saw this up at the swam area last week.  

Bumblebee on flower

I was quite happy with this shot...it is completely luck as the bumblebee was not still for over 2 seconds at any time.  It was busy, busy, busy!

White barn

 No matter how I try, I cannot get a shot of this barn that portrays it as it really is.

 This was about as good as I could do on this...I did not want to fall in the marsh and with my luck lately, that is what would have happened if I had tried to get down closer.

Blending in

After I got done power washing the north side of the house, I saw this and wondered what did I miss.  (I had my glasses off.)  I looked closer and saw that it was this tree frog.  It's the first one I have seen this year.
