Petals

Even petals on the ground are beautiful.

In the previous post from our granddaughter, I forgot to tell that she is not yet a teenager.   Just had to throw that bit of information in.

  1. It is like art, like a painting. Glad you mentioned Lorelei's age, I didn't know how old she is now.

  2. Good for her--- I started taking pictures when I was 10. I "borrowed" one of my dad's cameras and a light meter. 680 B&W film. This is a fine picture, Rose.

  3. She does very well with her camera for such a young age. I hope she keeps up with it.

  5. at first glance i thought they were small shells on the ground. so pretty. and we have flowering trees here and people hate when the flowers cover the ground and I think grass covered in purple or pink flowers is gorgeous

  8. Petals on the ground have their own story to tell. It's not always about the flowers. Nice find.

  14. I hope that your granddaughter sticks with photography. She has a talent. This is a lovely composition with the petals. I love the contrast of the petals and the pieces of wood.

  15. I tried to cut one of my roses and they all turned to petals like this. It is fun to see them fall apart but then I don't get a bloom into the house.
