Another from the archives. As you can see, the window in yesterday's post is from this. At the time we were there, we did not think it was being used as a church any more. But we were never sure. I was checking Google Maps to make sure it was in Attica. It is now
The Sanctuary Bed & Breakfast. Wouldn't you love to see inside in real life. If you follow the link, it has photos but that is just not the same as seeing it in person.
Yes I WOULD like to see inside! How they could turn a beautiful church like this into a bed and breakfast, logistically speaking. It is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteLovely! YAM xx
I would guess not at the time this was taken. All the windows appear to be either replaced or revised to be non-religious.
ReplyDeleteI love those windows. What a fitting name for a bed and breakfast in an old church. It would be nice to go in and have a look around.
ReplyDeleteits really beautiful here. to bad it is not still in use as a church, but glad they found a way to keep it and not tear it down
ReplyDeletethe place is goregous and I am with you, want to see it myself. to me they did a poor job with their website. it is awkward to see the way they have it set. the photos are gorgeous
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture! The windows work is impressive.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, and have a great year ahead.
What a lovely place for a B&B!
ReplyDeleteI do hope you will go there again and post the interiors and enjoy the food there !
ReplyDeleteI followed the link to the B&B, and enjoyed wondering where the bedroom was. Ha, up a ladder...I'm not likely to want to stay there. But it is sure pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful inside and out. Would love to see the inside in person!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty place as a church and as now, a bed and breakfast. I was commenting the other day to my husband that churches do not look like churches to me. They are these big metal auditorium style buildings that have no welcoming character .....or at least that is how I see them. Here wishing that you have a wonderful year ahead with all good and happy things!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely and quaint place! Here wishing that you have a wonderful year ahead with all good and happy things!
ReplyDeleteThat would be a unique B&B experience. Lovely place and window.
ReplyDeleteI like your photograph.
ReplyDeleteThanks also for the link, it looks a very nice place.
All the best Jan
That would be interesting to look inside.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go inside and see what it’s like, photos don’t do it justice. Years ago my husband and I toured some churches in the UP that were being restored, it was so fun to see them starting to come back to life.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to save a building. It would make a wonderful bed and breakfast. I love the windows and the architecture.
ReplyDeleteThose windows make it look distinctive.
