I always thought this barn a little beauty. Imagine my surprise when we passed by a year or two ago and it was just gone. Not one sign that it had ever been there.
I wonder if there are people still living who grew up loving that barn and their experiences there. There are some old structures in rural as well as town areas that I love seeing on our occasional day trips.
For a barn that looks like it was in decent shape, you wonder why it is gone now. Great preservation shot!

ReplyDeleteYet that looks way more substantial than some that you've seen! YAM xx
🥲 That's sad.
ReplyDeleteThat's strange. It does not look old or worn out or anything.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame, it really was a beauty!
ReplyDeleteIt is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful and very well built. I can't imagine why someone would tear it down. That is very sad.
ReplyDeleteStructural damage too great to deal with, I suppose. Too bad.
ReplyDeleteToo bad, but there are others to come, right?
ReplyDeleteOh that's too bad. It looks like it would be a lot sturdier than wood barns.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a nice barn. Now, it is gone? What a shame!
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a good day.
maybe it burned or was blown away by a tornado and not replaced? it looks good to me.
ReplyDeleteI love this point of view. It looks so grand
ReplyDeleteThe walls look beautiful!! And it vanished leaving no trace ! That's strange :)))
ReplyDeleteNow that's really sad. It looks like it is in great shape and to me it looks like its made of bricks...Very unusual.
