Not final...

These are Grandmother's Flower Garden blocks.  They could be sewn together like this.  But I am leaning towards a different way.  There always comes a point where the a final decision must be made.   And I am the most indecisive person you would ever want to meet.  I can always see so many visions it is hard to choose just one.  BTW, you can click on the photo to get a bigger view.

  3. From what I remember of my Grandmother's actual flower garden it was thrown together in an entirely random way but always looked wonderful.

  13. This is gorgeous! I am looking forward to seeing the final product. It is hard making decisions. My problem is choice of colors when I create a glass project.

  14. I have a similar quilt that my mother in law made a gazillion years ago.
Its packed away for safe keeping. I haven't looked at it in years.
I do like your quilt very much and look forward to seeing your final "vision".

  15. Your Grandmother's Flower blocks are so pretty, Rose, and such a treasure. I would love to see what you do with them. My sister used to sew quilts. It's such a talent.....and a lost art. Wish I saw more of it in today's world. My Mom was a terrific seamstress, and I loved the fact that she sewed many of my clothes growing up. Oh, these flower blocks are so special.
