This photo is heavily cropped.  I am not sure of the identity of this bird.

  4. If I had to guess I'd say it was a Greater Yellowlegs, though I've only ever seen one in pictures when trying to identify a bird which turned out to be a Lesser Yellowlegs.

  5. It is a speckled bird with long legs and a really long beak and it looks great standing in its own reflection.

As I cannot see other comments at this point of making mine, forgive if others have already said... this is a Greater Yellowlegs Sandpiper. Lovely shot, cropped or not! YAM xx

  8. Hello,

Great reflection photo, could the bird be one of the Yellowlegs, Lesser or Greater? Take care, have a great day and a happy new week!

  10. Loved this. It looks like that bird's reflection is what he, or she, is standing on.

  12. A beautiful image of the bird and his reflection. I am always fascinated with these shore birds that have the longest beaks!

  13. Oh, I always love to see photos of reflections in the water. This little bird is sweet, and has such a long beak. Not sure what it is either, but he's cute.
