I have to be patient....but I am already wondering if my hibiscus have survived some or the bitter cold we had this past winter. They are always so slow to start growing that every year I think I have lost them. The very first year I planted one, I did lose it to the terrible winter. One of the Nurse Practioners said her mom had lost a rose that she had had forever . This year was not as bad as that one, but we did have one or two nights where it got below zero.
Yours is gorgeous. None of the ones here have bloomed yet, so more patience for sure.
ReplyDeleteGood luck. It's always heartbreaking when plants don't survive.
ReplyDeleteThey will bloom in your heart if they fail to bloom outside.
ReplyDeleteHari Om
ReplyDeleteI adore hibiscus - I pray yours comes forth!!! YAM xx
I don't even know what the word patience is haha will be waiting to hear if it survived the below zero. It's amazing that these are five the cold.
ReplyDeletePatience is something I do not have a whole lot of.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty. I planted a hibiscus one year. I think it only lasted that year and never came back the next. It was pretty while it lasted though.
I hope your hibiscus survived, they are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day and the new week ahead.

The hibiscus is beautifully captured, as is the stigma.

ReplyDeleteA beautiful macro image. The detail and color is perfect. I lost some perennial flowers from out cold winter. I hope that your hibiscus survived. It is always sad to lose flowers.

ReplyDeleteI always have to stop for red flowers and red birds. I love the middle of this flower. Very pretty.
