There's an ancient burial ground (mound) that's inside the barn. The barn is just to hide what really is inside. :-) I am sure it has left many thinking.
Nice image though!! Good thing you don't know what it means!! Before posting a comment here, I went to Google Guru and searched "The Mound" Phew!!! a couple of definitions did sound macabre. Whoever who it was who said "Ignorance is Bliss" deserves the Nobel Prize :))))
Must be the name of the barn...but who knows WHY? Maybe it was built on an ancient burial mound!

that is a very odd thing to have painted on a barn. that said, I like this barn, shape, color and conditon and the meadow of flowers too
