My peony is full of blooms...this is from another year...it is full of blooms this year as the photo below sort of shows. The colors make it look like two different peonies but it is the same one. I have never had a camera that I felt captured its real color.
It is gorgeous! So is it really red, or this hot pink?
ReplyDeleteThat photo is stunning. We tired to grow peonies but haven't had any luck so far.
ReplyDeleteI've just been putting together some peony photos for an upcoming blog - it looks like some of them are the same variety as your one, and just as difficult to capture the right colour!
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful--- There are some in front of a house near us. They bloom, and then a rainfall will knock them down!
ReplyDeleteMuito bonitas.
ReplyDeleteGostei.
Um abraço e boa semana.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful peonies! Take care, enjoy your day and the new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. My peony has buds on it but none have opened up yet.
ReplyDeleteSuch rich colors captured in these beautiful peonies!
ReplyDeleteI'm photographing peonies around here too...and feel the same about cameras and red flowers! Somebody should fix that!
ReplyDeletePeonies are mu husband's favorite. These are so vibrant and rich. Ours are pink and white.
ReplyDeleteNothing can beat the eyes capturing the live colors of life! Lovely peony
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I don't have any but I've seen a few buds on some in town.
ReplyDeleteOh, I thought this was a red rose, so I rushed right over haha. Yes, the colors do look a little different in these pictures. The second one is more pink. Peonies are so pretty, and I wish I could plant them up here, but not sure they'd make it in the cold snowy Winters we have. So glad that you have a garden filled with Peonies, Rose.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

ps.....I think they are from the Rose family. : )
(I think the Peony flowers are exquisite . My plants are about two-three inches tall, so it will be a while before I see flowers.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a gorgeous color. We had a lot of rain last night. I noticed that my peonies are all lying flat on the ground. I need to tie them up. A beautiful composition.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I am anxious to see what my peony looks like in Maine. I expect the garden there is overgrown with weeds.💖
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and great shots of them.
