After the bloom

Remember what I said about the wind in a previous post?  Every time I tried to photograph this, the wind would start.  I am luck to have got this at all.

  4. Love this. Flowers don't always lose their beauty after the bloom. Even dried up they can look pretty. I hate when that happens with the wind

  10. Beautiful capture...
The wind has been awful here at our house for months.
Everybody seems to be talking about it. the wind and hot dry conditions are a recipe for wildfires in our area, and summer has just begun!!

  11. They are beautiful. The center looks as soft as a cat's fur. We try to burn the thistles here before they drop their seeds.

  14. That can be very frustrating! Sometimes when I want to take pictures and it is windy, I just end up putting my camera away! This image definitely looks wind blown which I really like!
