From my yard


 I have been seeing a House Finch off and on.  I do not know if it is just one single one that comes, or if there are more.  But I only ever see one at a time

  10. We have quite a few of these little guys flitting around our house. I love the flash of red.
    My camera just isn't fast enough to capture photos as you do.

  14. An excellent catch of the finch with your camera. We have lots that come to our feeders with all the other birds. It’s hard to get them by themselves. ❤️

  15. This little bird is so cute. I have taken a few pictures of the Finch myself back in my old town. I hope you got to see a video on the California Quail's call. You know, I'm interested in that too, not sure about his song. ; )
