Daylily

 Just a flower from my daughter's yard to try to keep this blog going...hoping that one of these days I can settle down and return to blogging.  All is as good as it gets in my world.  Roger is still doing better here.

A rose

 This is one of my daughter's roses...and believe me, this photo does not do it justice.   If I get a good pic of it, you won't believe they are real.  

From the yard....

 It is just wonderful to see a bee...since I did not blog last summer let me explain.  I had two or three tomato plants in pots and also a couple cucumbers potted.  I had grown some the year before and enjoyed them.  Not quite like having a garden, but better than nothing.  

Nothing got pollinated.  I saw one honeybee in my yard and that is all.  I am not exaggerating.  I would sit and watch for them, walk in the yard and look for them.  None.  Even my coneflowers did not have bees...I saw one type of bee one time.  Normally,  once they start blooming something was always on them.  Last year nothing.  

So, no pollinators for my vegetables...after it was too late, I wondered if I could have taken a q-tip and pollinated them.

This was shot at a local greenhouse....McCammon's Irish Market Garden Center in Avon, Indian.  This was taken I think the second weekend we moved here.  Which was in April.
