A not so loved carpenter's bee


 I tried snapping this and was amazed I managed to get one at all.  I will say I missed a lot because it was not still long enough.

    A great image. You did a great job capturing it. I like that you can see the movement of the wings! I have one that keeps buzzing around my pergola. A couple of years ago one drilled holes in the wood. This is a superb image.
