Growing in the wind

Spring is springing, even though the temps would fool you...if you stepped out blindfolded you would think we were still in winter.  It is cold and damp today. Another in our backyard shot.

  1. Cold here today too. It was snowing this morning. Spring is trying but winter isn't ready to go away just yet.

  2. Here in the UK we are having quite mixed weather, with storm warnings for the very North and possible warmest day of the year on Saturday in the East!

    I like your photograph.

    All the best Jan

  5. I've also been out taking close-up shots like that recently. Today though it's forecast to reach 70F here. It won't last! Hope it warms up for you soon.

The climate really is playing tricks on us, isn't it? Over here, too, I sit in my van, having endured a very wintry storm. Way more than April Showers!!! That's a lovely shot... FOR GINNY - It looks like an Acer to me... YAM xx

  8. It's very much like that here, but your trees are leafed out a lot more than ours.

  12. A beautiful composition! It is like that here too. We have also had a lot of rain. But it is just so chilly. In the high 40's and low 50's. Hopefully spring will show up soon!
