 This is a type of hydrangea...but I don't recall the name.  It is one my daughter likes.  And frankly, I have never seen one I disliked.

From the road

 I was on the way to an appointment yesterday and got held up at a 4-way stop or I would not have gotten this.  It was taken with my phone and in real life is sort of faded out.

 When I was a kid, I did not appreciate the beauty of the milkweed flower...they are really gorgeous.

Missing these....

 I am wondering how far I would have to travel to see any of these...I feel sure some place nearer than back home has them, but I know not where to find them.  

A favorite subject....

 Dragonflies are one of my most favorite things to photograph.  This is from a few years ago.

 It was up in the day, a dry windy day when I spotted this cluster of water droplets on a spider web.

 This is just a tiny portion of the original photo...I will try to get out with good camera before this set of babies have fledged.  I totally missed the first set.  My daughter plans to take down this wreath soon as these have flown away. (There are actually two babies.)
