A superb close up image. I love to attempt to photograph them! I seem to never have much luck. They move really fast and I think that I must probably scare them. I need to try and find a place where there are a lot of them and sit in one spot and take pictures. This is beautiful with the large eyes and the lace wings.
we saw one yesterday hovering over the pool all day and it was so fat it looked like a small hummingbird. the entire body was fat, this one today is fat at top and thin. never seen one like it

ReplyDeleteGreat close-up! We haven't seen any yet. Maybe they'll eat the cicadas? :-)
