Look what I saw


 I wish I had had my good camera with me when I saw this...laying  under some trees.  I thought it quite interesting...

    I had something similar to that growing in two places on top of mulch. Someone told me that it is called Slime mold. It is harmless. I ended up spraying it away with a hose. Apparently there is a large variety of this mold.

    google search says Texas mushrooms. it is a fungus for sure, found lots of info about mystery fungus..
