?????

I think I knew the name of this flowers at one time but I have forgotten.  It grows in wet areas, at the edges of strip pit or swamp area.

This was taken a few years ago, but I don't think I have ever published it. Goldfinches can sure get busy when they find something they like.  This was before the land was being farmed.

Green Darner Dragonfly

 I think this is a Green Darner Dragonfly, but not sure.  If you know otherwise, feel free to tell me what it is,

From younger days...

Can you believe this was taken before I was 60 yrs. old.  I had not thought of my age in relations to when I took pics...
 

From the past...

I think this was from 2013.  I am assuming it was taken at the strip mining area.  

I would like to see butterflies like this once again...
 

At work....

When I had coneflowers, there were always bees of some sort on them when they bloomed, till the last year.  That year I think I saw two insects on them, no butterflies.  Just nothing. That was in 2022.  This shot if from 2013.

One more bloom...

 The hibiscus is soon going to be done blooming.  But yesterday and today it had 21 new blooms each day.  And there are still more blooms to come.
