Clothes snagger...

From the archives...I have had my clothes snagged on barbed wire more times than I can count when I tried to go under, or through two strands of it.

  1. When you're a tall man like me, the snagging trying to climb over can be even more dangerous!

  2. Superb close-up! Looks awfully sharp, too. It's probably taken out a few eyes, too. :-)

  3. I also have many accidents with barbed wire. Fine shot with the water drop trapped there.

  4. As clumsy as I am, I would surely impale myself on this and bleed to death...

  5. I think anyone who has ever been around barbed wire has had that same problem.

  6. hahaha, we have a lot of that clothes snagging wire here in west Texas. One year our small dog came back to the house without his sweater. I thought perhaps a coyote had tried to grab him and maybe he got out of his sweater. However, a few days later, I found his sweater hanging on the barbed wire where he had tried to cross under. Wishing you a merry Christmas!

  7. You have such a great eye for picking something ordinary out and turning it into a work of art. This is very well done, with the little bead of water also.

I love the stark simplicity of this image.

Today I've promised myself to leave a comment on ALL the blogs I read, to leave the Seasons Greetings that move one at this time but also to say how much I appreciate each one and to say thanks for the company throughout another year. Take care and have a wonderful festive time. YAM xx

  11. Not good getting your clothes ripped on the barbed wire, but this is a cool photo.

    Merry Christmas Rose.
