I could not get a better view of this...I was standing at the edge of strip pit on a steep bank...yet I could not resist trying because of how the light was reflecting off the water and hitting the leaves. I just love the way the color is arriving on this blackberry briar.
I plan on adding this to the list at MaryT's Work of the Poet/Ruby Tuesday post...if you want to join click the badge.
I love the color and light Rose!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great leaf, with the combination of colors from seasons Spring, Summer and Autumn. Such beauty, and s fine capture!
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like a patchwork design on each leaf. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like the red sections in the lower leaf. We've had so much rain this week that our trees are retaining their color for the time being.
ReplyDeleteOh I like autumn season love the color change...Happy Ruby Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors. While we don't get those colors here, the oak trees shed their leaves twice a year and most of the darn things end up in the pool.
ReplyDeleteI think they could at least change color to look like this!
Oh that is so pretty, amazing what we can see, when we're really looking.
ReplyDeletepretty capture for the autumn's arrival. i like the play of light on it.

ReplyDeleteSuper ruby.
ReplyDeleteI don't miss the temperatures dropping and the all too quick approach of winter but I do miss the fall colors. I'll have to live vicariously through you.
ReplyDeleteFall colors I love them. The colors are blended so beautifuly.
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteYou don't really expect a berry bush to give much more than berries, and yet the leaves are beautiful in their own right.
I posted one of my wild strawberry plant leaves for Ruby Tuesday last week if you want to pop over and see it, though I warn you the photography is very poor compared to yours.
