I never tire of seeing sunflowers...whether mine or yours. You could probably post them every day of the week and I would still like them. This is a late one growing in my yard. I know it is probably one of the last ones to be seen.
They make me smile too, like you I could look at them each day of the week. This is a beautiful shot Rose, I like that you captured the pollen on the leaf.
One of the towns near us here had a field of sunflowers. We were in a hurry to stop and take a picture. I should go back to see if there are any left blooming. I love seeing them growing wild on the sides of the road. Wonderful picture.
I love them too :-) Have you ever really looked at the center and then looked at a Great Dahlia quilt pattern (I think that is the name)? It is the same pattern. I've been wanting to make a quilt based on one...real big....and hang it on my wall in the living room....than I could have something sunny all the time to make me smile.
Our neighbors have several sunflowers along the side of their back deck. EVERY time I walk from my house to the garage I look over and admire those sunflowers!
