This is the back way to Bridgeton, Indiana. This weekend is the end of the Covered Bridge Festival for another year. If I had been there today it would have been impossible to stop and take a picture...it is dangerous enough normal times cause it is taken from the crest of the hill and no room to pull off. Today there would be a constant stream of traffic....over a million people come to Parke County each year for the festival. Along every road leading into Parke County, there are yard sales, and every little town has stuff going on, but Bridgeton and Mansfield probably have the most vendors.
Looks like a nice quiet place ---but obviously not this weekend.... As much as I enjoy festivals---I would probably prefer the quietness of the land...
ReplyDeleteLook at that sky.... WOW!!!!
Have a good week. We WILL.

This is a wonderful picture of rural Indiana. I'm glad you were able to safely get it to share with us.
ReplyDeleteNice view from where you are. I would like to go back to the covered bridge festival one of these days, but something always seems to interfere.
