Actually this is a strip pit...we were out there a couple weeks ago. I walked along the edge of this one. There were tons of little frogs--not the teeny tiny ones, but ones about an inch and a half long. They had had time to grow just a little bit. I wonder will they all survive the winter. Beautiful picture, Rose.... Bet those little frogs thought you were going to take them home with you!!!! SO---They took off!!!! ha ha

ReplyDeleteNow this looks like a flooded gravel pit that I might see around here. I wish that I had the patience to take wildlife photos. Things that move and I don't get along well. Perhaps that is why I enjoy photographing barn! Tom The Backroads Traveller
