Illinois farm

This is a farm we seen on one of the back roads as we came home from Arthur, Illinois the other day.

  1. What a beautiful autumn scene, you have some lovely back roads. That barn is very interesting.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. A fine looking farm shot. The sky would appear to be oncoming weather of some kind. Fine shot. Happy Thanksgiving.

  4. I love that you included the whole farm in this photo, not just the barn itself. It reminds me of so many farms we would pass driving to my Grandparents house in IL. Glad to see they got the corn in!

  6. it's always a sad sight though to see the fileds so bare. I see you still have leaves on your trees.

  7. This is iconic! So typical of so many midwestern farms. It would make a great subject for a painting, too. The sky looks a bit threatening, though...almost like a tornado is in the offing...

  8. I love this! We saw so many neat farms like this when we drove across Illinois to Iowa but couldn't stop for any good photos.
