We came across this farm today in our ramblings...imagine having a farm that has been in your family for well over a hundred years. I wonder if they have any old writings, records from those first years.

This trim is what first caught my eye. I guess it is all a little unique, but this really is like no other that I have seen.

Do you see the kitty in this picture? Enlarge it and look in the window...there s/he is laying on the back of a couch watching me.

This front porch is just magnificent in my opinion. I wonder if the people that live there ever have time to sit out there and enjoy it. It doesn't look very used to me.
And I had to add the overall view...I sure think it is a beauty!
What a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThe trimwork all over the house is just wonderful!
I'd love to see inside. If it's that lovely outside I bet the inside is too with period furniture.
Wow ! Awesome architecture !
ReplyDeleteMust cost a fortune to maintain.
That is a beautiful farm house. We have a century farm down the hill from us. In fact our road is named after them.
ReplyDeleteThat is a genuine treasure...and you got to capture it in a fine series. that porch is like nothing I've ever seen. Excellent place to shoot.
ReplyDeleteThat whole place is magnificent...they've done a marvelous job of restoring it...I'll bet it didn't look anywhere near that good when it was first built...I like everything about it!
