Uncommon beauty

These lilies grow everywhere...along roadsides, along ditches, at he edge of streams. Everywhere we go, there they are. Like an army of little orange soldiers standing at attention....or like children waiting to be set free to go play. Trailing after each other down a common path.

  2. We have them in our garden at home. They are wonderful fill for color. They came with the house 32 years ago and would have taken over the entire property if I hadn't fenced them in. ;) Your image is just beautiful.

  3. I love seeing the orange lilies along the road side and in yards. So pretty! My double ones are just beginning to bloom. Will have to get out and take some photos.

  6. It's hard to imagine these growing wild along roadsides and local streams. We have a noxious weed that has yellow blossoms that grows along roadsides, but that's one everyone is trying to eradicate. This is an actual flower...great looking picture.
