I think this is an Amish home...can't help but wonder how many people live here. It looks as if it has had a couple additions. I like how everything is so neat and well groomed.
Add-ons like that are pretty common in our area---a lot of the Amish have separate living quarters for parents/grandparents....several generations in one house, but each having privacy too.
Each to his own, but I certainly wouldn't want that kind of living arrangement! And can you imagine trying to sell a home like that at some point in the future???
I like the pristine look of their white house. Any Amish I've seen anywhere around here and in central Kansas were always extremely neat and fastidious about the appearance of their homes and farmyards.
It is a nice idea to all live together yet separate. This house looks very unadorned, though, making it almost institutional in my view. But it is simple if an Amish family do live there.
