Its that time of the week....time to show a barn or barns as the case may be... so I am choosing this one that we got some where south and east of Terre Haute. It has been a fine barn in its day. You can find more barns at Tricia's Barn Charm Meme.
This is one BIG barn and your captures are wonderful. The crosshatching on the opening/doors in the hay loft is so nice. It could use a new paint job, but otherwise it looks to be in pretty good shape. genie
I hadn't noticed until recently just how many barns have that upper overhang. I'm assuming that not only does it keep the rain away from the upper doors, but there's a place to hang a pulley to help with storing hay.
Wow, that is a big barn. I love the sloping roof.
ReplyDeleteYou've found a great barn to share this week.

ReplyDeleteNice lines on this one!! I love when the paint is faded and worn.. It looks like it could still be a functional working barn!
