I miss our long rides on roads like this, before the price of gas got so high, we spent many happy hours on weekends riding up and down roads we have never traveled. we retired, our income dropped and gas went up, so i will just wander down your road with you.
This reminds me of a lane in the Hensley Settlement at Cumberland Gap. The trees are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way! Wish I could walk down that road. May each day bring you treasures. :)
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures on your blog.

Lovely scene. I'd travel there, too!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you, I just want to see where that goes.
ReplyDeletethat's really beautiful. :)
ReplyDeletei would LOVE to ride my bike here!!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! So did you go down this one, and what did you find? I would HAVE to!!!
ReplyDeleteCorn on one side, fall foliage on the other and a winding road ahead - I'm envious!
ReplyDeleteNow that's the kind of road I like to take a stroll down.
ReplyDeleteLooks so peaceful!
Reminds me of the poem by Frost with reference to a 'yellow wood'.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo, Rose.
Nice autumn shot of this interesting looking road. I like the dips and wiggles in it as it disappears over the little hill. Fine image.

ReplyDeleteI love them too, as long as they don't dead end at someones house...opps. Really pretty with the corn on one side.

ReplyDeleteI love this shot! It would make a lovely landscape quilt!
