A little bit of wear just seems to add to the charm.

This is from Illinois country...

it is one we passed on a recent rambling drive.

ReplyDeletelove the 3rd shot!
ReplyDeleteThis one does have charm...I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is terrific! I love the old, weathered wood.
ReplyDeleteThe gray wood is beautiful. I get the feeling this barn is like a game of pick-up-sticks - if you removed one piece from it, it might fall! Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteI agree, worn barns are the most charming! This is a nice one.
ReplyDeleteIt may be showing some wear, but it looks like it still has good bones. As Mari said, the time worn boards add to it's charm.
ReplyDeletei agree....the older, the more torn and tattered, the better. this one is a real charmer!!
ReplyDeleteLots of natural air conditioning here... but I agree that it does add charm. :)
ReplyDeleteI love it! Looks like a tired old fellow.
ReplyDeleteLove the last picture! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI often wonder why so many barns seem to be in such a state of disrepair. Are they no longer in use?
ReplyDeleteThis one does need some work, but that seems to make it all that much more artistic and photogenic.
ReplyDeleteI like this particular design with the balance of the two sides.
ReplyDeleteIt has wonderful character--lovely charm! :>)
Yep, nice barn, Rose, & the wear does add to the charm! Love the doors up top... rugged, but love it! =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining! =)
I would like to have this one in my yard if i had room. or just own the land where it is. beautiful
ReplyDeleteThis is a great looking, old barn. I like it's shape and the variety of colors it presents. The wear and tear seem to fit it rather well. Nice post, Rose!
ReplyDeleteI really like this barn. It does need some TLC, but you're right -- the weather-worn appearance just adds to the charm.
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat old barn. Thank you for the nice comments on my blog.
ReplyDeleteit is most definitely a charmer!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so happy and well used. I see horses standing in the side sheds.(well I see horses everywhere) I like it!! MB
ReplyDeleteAwesome barns! Great, all of them!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great looking barn though. I could tell the owner tries to repair the walls and I like that white sheets that they put as a wall, very practical it won't worn out easy. ^_^
ReplyDeleteBarn Charm
I like how it looks like someone is at least "trying" to keep it standing. It does have charm.
ReplyDeleteI like the sides of this one, they add so much character.
ReplyDeleteThe older, the more charm when it comes to barns! I'm looking for some fall colors around a barn...so far, no luck in open farm country.
ReplyDeleteI think that you are able to find charm in any barn, just because you like barns :-) LOL
ReplyDeleteIt is a bit worn, but it's still lovely.
