Barn from the Land of Lincoln....

We saw this barn over in Illinois the other day...it was about the only one I could shoot with any success.

So I am showing several images.

I had to convert one or two to black and white.

I hope you enjoy my entry to Tricia's Barn Charm meme!

  1. I like the weathered wood on this one and the way the boards are coming loose up in the point of the roof.

  12. How fortunate for your photo to catch that bold shadow across the barn. Looks like Mr. Lincoln's barn is struggling to stand. Hope the weather is kind to it this summer.

  13. Enjoyed this very much. Love that overhang above what I'm guessing is the hay loft.

  23. Looks like you get to see this barn really close. I wish I could shot barns too close not just drive by shooting. There are more to see in a barn like what you have shown here. Thanks for sharing.

  24. This is such a classic barn. Too bad someone didn't care enough to keep up with her. You got some really nice photos of her.

  25. Boy, it's an oldie for sure. The weathered wood is really beautiful. I suppose it will just fall down someday and someone will bulldoze right over it. Sad. MB
