I am embarrassed to say I had never no.ticed the flowers of different grasses till this year. I could not believe I had not noticed once I started really seeing.
Grasses can be very beautiful. You just have to look a bit closer at them. That's one of the best parts of photography--it makes you look at things in a different way and see all kinds of things you never did before.
This grass is so delicate!! And more colourful than most of the ones I see around here. Isn't it amazing what a camera will do to your eyesight! I have noticed stuff this past couple of years that I walked past for ages!!!
Yes, who knew weeds could be so beautiful? I did a small pin and ink sketch of some weeds a while back and my talented geek squad friend turned them into some lovely business cards for me. This shot reminds me of that drawing--spare and quite lovely.
