Going or coming....

This was a young Amish man....I wondered was he going somewhere or coming back home.  Also wondered if it was his courting buggy...was he going to get his girl, or had he just taken her home.

Digging for fences...

It is time for Friday's Fences again, and I just spent an hour or more digging through the archives... I have probably posted this one before but don't think I have used it for Friday's Fences.

This second I don't think I have ever posted...

 Tufted titmice are always around if there is feed out.  I have a hard time capturing them because they are never still.

I cropped a couple different photos to get the versions here. 

The Mister...

It was bitter cold here today...the birds flocked to the feeders.  Including this fellow...

He only came a few times, but at least managed to capture him.

Isn't he handsome...we used to see red-bellied woodpeckers any time we had out feed, but have only seen them a few times this winter.

Remains for Barn Charm....

I am trying to use some of the barns from the past that I have not posted before....the following are only from last year.

This from near Goose Pond...more the Bee Hunter's Pond area.  It just seems so massive.

And this is from down somewhere near that area as well...I can't remember it at all.  I am just going by the image number.

Now the one above is south of Indianapolis...and probably just a little bit west...it is a drive-by.   Not the greatest image, but an interesting design.

I have taken pictures of this before, and may have even posted some of them.  But every time I see this, I wonder what it was used for.

It is in Indiana, North of here, but not sure which county. 

It is an odd one, for Indiana.

We passed this in some little town we were traveling through...but I am not sure which one. I thought it was well done.

This was a farm we passed on our way home from Tennessee...it is in Indiana.  I wish I had had time to compose the shot.  I love that big old tree!

Looking through....

An old building in Illinois...I love looking through and seeing all the arched doorways.

This was another quick snap from Vermilion, Illinois...I was shooting past Roger.  Not the greats effort.  I thought removing what little color there was helped.  I also cropped it to remove part of the window area of the Rav's door. 

Maybe boring, but....

doesn't it give you a good feeling just looking at this.  I am getting anxious for shirt-sleeve weather.

Teepees....

When I see ice like this, it always reminds me of teepees.  I think the only place I have ever seen it is out there at the strip pits.

I just had to give you two versions.  I wonder if any of the ice is left...it has been pretty warm today. 

You know what time it is..

it is Barn Charm time again!  I had to dig around to find some to post.  Not so much find ones to post, but figuring out which I have posted before and which not.  That can be quite challenging sometimes.

 After poking around in my photos and on my blog, I settled on these three...all drive-by shots from Tennessee.  All are in need of a little TLC.  For the best view, click to expand the view.

Feathered friend....

This guy has been around quite a bit the past couple of days...but has not been here as much as in previous years.  Maybe he found another diner that is better than mine.

I posted a view of this house/porch the other day over here at Pics & Pieces...thought I would show this shot where I zoomed in on some of the appeal of the place. Such intricate work...I wonder how long it has been there and what tools were used to make this decorative trim.
