Going or coming....

This was a young Amish man....I wondered was he going somewhere or coming back home.  Also wondered if it was his courting buggy...was he going to get his girl, or had he just taken her home.

  2. It's a very good action shot of this fellow and his horse and buggy. I like the courting idea.

  3. We have these around here. And it is better to snap from the back, they don't like having their pictures taken.

  4. These folks are crazy. I came across them in a portion of Missouri where the narrow two lane road was in a hilly region. No shoulder on the road and people would come flying over a rise at 50 mph only to come upon a buggy putzing down the other side very slowly. Insane!

  7. I wonder what the GP on the plate stands for.
Reading Sinbad's comment I have to wonder who's really insane - the slow driving buggy driver who can notice and enjoy his surroundings or us in our cars who fly by just to get from one place to another.

  11. Lovely picture...kind've makes one go back to the past. I used to worry I was encroaching on their privacy by taking pictures of the Amish (I always feel that way though with almost any stranger!) so he didn't have to know. :-)
